People who know me know that i am not a fan of vegetarian food. But i have been surprised myself when i am rating a vegetarian restaurant a full five on five. Family Tree is located near Satranj Wafers in Panchpakhadi Thane. It has valet service, courteous staff and food to die for. Great variety under one roof for the vegetarians. There are so many Jain dishes too so they'll love this restaurant too.
Totally goes with the name and the concept they had in mind. Little things make this place perfect. Right from the designing of the visiting cards (which i do suggest everyone to take one when they are down here) Coz they have family images on the back and are a keeper. Their chair's are all different from one another. They have one wall which i love particularly which has branches of a tree coming out of it and yet looks contemporary. Their tag line which is " Eat Together. Stay Together " is on the aprons of the servers. The food like the ambience has a lot of attention paid to it. Presentation is top notch. When down here i had the Nutella shake, the burnt garlic soup which has small burnt garlic crumbs sprinkled on top which make the soup interesting and crunchy, the burrito again yum, the corn shots served in shot glasses are tangy. Loved the Pesto penne pasta and the Manhattan Fries. Oozing cheese! In the main course it's the Thai curry which was amazing, the Pot rice and the Triple schezwan. In Indian do try the Paneer Khurchan. Star dish
In the dessert's if you're a chocolate lover you're sure to love the brownie and the fondue. But if you want to try something amazing then go for the Banoffee and the Paan Ice Cream. The paan ice cream is paan flavored ice cream wrapped around an actual paan. Banoffee pie has flavours of banana and toffee. Yum. Don't miss this restaurant coz it's just lovely. Way better than it's competition around surely
Great Ambience... Perfect for family outing ... Good veg food with multiple options and very corporative staff.. been there to celebrate Mother-in-law's birthday and staff was very helpful and humble to arrange cake, music n stuff... Must visit place...Cheers��
Fantastic place to be. Superb food, great ambience, super speedy service. I ordered my soup and it was on my table in the blink of an eye kind of speed. Food tastes excellent too. A must be place..
